OMT is the current leader in the production of injection systems intended for medium to large size diesel engines.
OMT is an important contributor to the supply of equipment used by the world’s leading engine builders in the marine, industrial and railway applications sectors. The most important goal is always total quality. This means excellence of products and company processes.
As a result, OMT has attained ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Certification, following years of research and innovation.
The company now occupies a surface area of 14,000 square metres and employs a specialized staff of 180 people. It develops constantly in terms of people, turnover, investments and goals.

Quality Assurance is the heart of OMT development policy. Every component is submitted to the complete range of functional tests required by ISO/SC7 Standards. OMT's Quality Assurance team operates autonomously. It applies verification standards and cooperates with manufacturing and engineering departments to decide on any possibile change in operating procedures. Rigorous tests re performed in two modern, state-of-the-art laboratories: the Metrological Lab, equipped to perform internal and external inspections on the products, as well as three dimensional measurements; and the Chemical/Physical Lab, intended for chemical, structural measurements, as well as tests on raw materials.
The Heat Treatments Department is equipped with the most modern and specific facilities to carry out all the heat treatments required during the production process, as well as for the testing and certification of production cycles.
The validity and the importance of the OMT Quality Certification System were confirmed when the company was awarded the Swiss S.Q.S.
Certification, which vouches for compliance with ISO9001:2000/ISO14001:2004 Envir. Standards. Filing of sample batches and a statistical processing of all the data collected during quality controls enable OMT to monitor "Standard Deviation" immediately and to provide for any necessary adjustment.

OMT is aware of the importance of total commitment to meet customer requirements for total quality; such a goal can only be reached if this way of thinking and working is shared by all personnel. For this reason personnel are selected and trained to perform specific jobs: from Research to Testing, from Design to Production, from Sale to Service. Progress is an ongoing process and customer requirements change accordingly, so OMT's skilled personnel periodically attend refreshers courses, meetings and seminars to stay up to date with this fast moving world.
